London Apartment 2 Bedroom Rental in Southwark (LN-528)

This London vacation rental is a two bedroom apartment in Southwark on Upper Ground off Blackfriars Road overlooking the Thames. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a modern apartment block on the south side of the river Thames next to Blackfriars bridge and the accommodation has a part-time doorman and elevator in the building. Note that there is construction next to the building and some noise can be heard from 8am to 4pm. This two bedroom apartment has a large living room with a good size balcony looking directly onto the river Thames with great views across the river towards St Paul's Cathedral. The living room has Sky satellite TV as well as regular freeview cable and WIFI internet connection. At the other end of the living room is the dining table with seating for four. The kitchen is separate but adjacent to the living room and is equipped with electric oven and electric hob. You will find flexible sleeping accommodations in this apartment: The master bedroom has a king size bed and built-in wardrobes while the second bedroom has two single beds that can be pushed together to form a king size bed. There is a family bathroom modernised in 2012 with bath, wall-mounted shower, and WC. In addition there is a separate washroom with WC (a half-bathroom). This vacation rental apartment is a great place to stay just over Blackfriars bridge and between two underground stations, Southwark (Jubilee line) and Blackfriars (Circle and District lines). Southwark is a popular location experiencing something of a renaissance. It is a very convenient location for public transport with Waterloo national railway station just half a mile from the apartment. Waterloo is one of London's busiest railway stations with links to the south and west. Blackfriars Road is also very close to the Tate Modern museum or for walks along the river towards the HMS Belfast, now a museum on the river Thames in the direction of Bermondsey.
