London Apartment Studio in Covent Garden, Bloomsbury - West End (LN-507)

This studio apartment is located in the heart of London’s West End on Charing Cross Road, between Saint Giles High Street and Denmark Street. It is a loft style accommodation on the first floor (2nd for Americans) of a period building that features an elevator, double locking doors, and an intercom system for security. This vacation rental has hardwood floors and a contemporary décor, with furnishings that make excellent use of the 35 square meter (1450 square feet) studio space. The living area receives a lot of natural light through multiple windows, which offer a nice street view. There is a lofted double bed and underneath it are two chairs, a coffee table, floor lamp, built-in bookshelves, stereo, and a flat-screen TV with DVD player. Please note that the sleeping area in this apartment is at high level and is accessed via a ladder. It may not be suitable if you have impaired mobility or are otherwise restricted by age or infirmity. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped, has adequate cabinet space where you can store your groceries, and has a dining table for two. The bathroom features windows, overhead cabinet space, a washer and dryer. You will conveniently have access to high-speed wireless Internet throughout the apartment. You will not only love this vacation rental because it a great unit, but also because it is situated in the West End, which is one of the most sought-after areas of Central London. Charing Cross Road is a street renowned for its secondhand and specialty book shops, such as Foyles, which is just two blocks away. You will also find that the Soho-Mayfair area of the West End has many bars, pubs, and nightclubs, among them 12 Bar Club (1 block), The Royal George (1 block), and The Edge (3 blocks). Take advantage of the various dining options nearby, including Govinda’s restaurant (0.2 miles / 320 meters), which serves up a variety of pure vegetarian and vegan dishes—with both English and Indian influences, and L’Escargot (0.1 miles / 160 m), a Soho landmark since 1927, offering fine French cuisine and displaying an amazing collection of 20th century artwork. If you want to go for a walk in the park, head to Soho Square (0.1 miles / 160 m), a venue with a garden area that dates all the way back to 1681 and hosts free open-air concerts during the summers, or visit the London landmark, Hyde Park (1.5 miles). Another amazing attraction is Covent Garden (0.6 miles / 960 m), famous for its fashionable boutiques, street performers, theaters and the Royal Opera House; it is an Italian-style piazza that attracts around 30 million tourists every year! You can also take pleasure in the major shopping destinations in the vicinity, like the prominent Oxford Street, Regent Street, and Bond Street, all within one mile (1.6 km). Exploring the rest of London is easy, since the studio apartment is just one block away from the Tottenham Court Road underground station (Northern and Central lines).
